UBeauty is devoted to supplying gardeners with innovative designs that utilise biodegradable and recycled materials. My love of growing succulents got me searching for interesting pots to showcase them in. On finding handcrafted recycled tyre pots in <country-region w:st="on">Pakistan</country-region>, which were not yet available in <country-region w:st="on"><place w:st="on">Australia</place></country-region>, l decided to start a business devoted to sustainable, recycled garden wares.<br />
<br />
UBeauty handcrafted recycled tyre pots can be purchased via my website, <a href="http://www.ubeautypotsandplants.com.au/"><span style="color: windowtext;">http://www.ubeautypotsandplants.com.au/</span></a><br style="mso-special-character: line-break;" /><br style="mso-special-character: line-break;" /></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 9.5pt;">Pots can also be purchased in selected stores, please check the website for locations.<br />
<br />
We also now have coconut fibre pots, some of these have been potted with succulents, and these can be purchased at my market stalls, including our regular spot at Salamanca Market most Saturdays in <place w:st="on"><city w:st="on">Hobart</city></place>. The coconut pots are biodegradable and made from a renewable resource (Coconut Husks). They are best used as a decorative pot for the short term, and can either be re-potted, or planted directly into your garden “pot and all’.<br />
<br />
Also available at my market stalls are West County Gardening Gloves made from recycled plastic bottles that would otherwise be sent to landfill. The plastic is melted and turned into a yarn (just like wool) and woven to make a durable water resistant fabric.<br />
<br />
I have just returned from The Melbourne Sustainable Living Festival, which was in the heart of the City at <street w:st="on"><address w:st="on">Federation Square</address></street> on the banks of the <place w:st="on"><placename w:st="on">Yarra</placename> <placetype w:st="on">River</placetype></place>. A whole festival dedicated to Sustainability!</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 9.5pt;"><br />
Next is The Melbourne Flower and Garden Show, March 30th-2nd April (siteB53). If you want me at your festival just send me a message and I’d love to come.<br />
